You can get 24 hours of digital access to the New York Times with a link from the Library. The New York Times digital site is also available if you're on our Wifi, either on one of our laptops or your own device.

All you need for home access is a Monroe County Public Library card. Here's how you can get started:

Go to New York Times 24-hour Access on our website

Start at keyslibraries.org and click on Online 24/7 eLibrary near the top of the page.

This will take you to our All 24/7 Resources page and you will see the card for New York Times 24-hr Access

This is also the page where you can find Libby (for eBooks, eAudiobooks and digital magazines, Kanopy for streaming film and TV, GetSetUp for courses aimed at older people and more.

Get the digital access code

By clicking on that link, you'll get a code that you can redeem for digital access to the New York Times.

You will also enter your 14-digit library card number - that's the long number under the barcode on the back of your card. Type in the whole number, with no spaces.

Then you log in (if you've previously created a New York Times account) or create an account and you will be connected.
