Mango prepares learners for realistic conversations and communication in over 70 world languages, including English as a second language courses tailored for your native language.
All you need is a Monroe County Public Library card. Here's how you can get started:
Go to Mango Languages on our website
Start at keyslibraries.org and click on Online 24/7 eLibrary near the top of the page.


This will take you to our All 24/7 Resources page and you will see the card for Mango Languages
This is also the page where you can find Libby (for eBooks, eAudiobooks and digital magazines, Kanopy for streaming film and TV, GetSetUp for courses aimed at older people and more.
Create an account

Now you will create an account with your email and password of your choosing. You will also enter your 14-digit library card number - that's the long number under the barcode on the back of your card. Type in the whole number, with no spaces.
You'll use your email and the password you just created to log in to your Mango account and the app, so keep those handy.
Get the app

If you want to use Mango on your phone, get the app -- just go to the Apple or Google Play store and search "Mango Languages."
Log in to the app

Now log in with the email address and password you used to create your account.

Choose a language

Now for the fun part!
Choose what language you would like to learn. If you are choosing English, then you can choose your native language, including kreyol, Spanish and Russian.

Need some help?
The Support Center can be found on the top righthand side of the screen. If you don't see it, or you're in the app, click on the hamburger menu (the three horizontal bars) and click on "Support."
If you are having problems with your Library card, you can contact us here or stop by or call your local branch.
More with Mango

If you're learning a language as a family, you can create up to five additional profiles on your Mango account. These people do NOT need to have a Monroe County Public Library card.
Whether you're in the app or on a computer, go to the hamburger menu (the three horizontal lines) and click on Family Profiles.
Then you can create up to five individual profiles, each with its own email address, password and content maturity level.
