Key Largo Library Welcomes Fantasy Theater Factory for Summer Kickoff
Join us for an exciting kickoff to our Read the Rainbow summer series with The Misadventures of Pinocchio, presented by Fantasy Theater Factory! This delightful theatrical twist on the classic tale is perfect for kids and families. Packed with laughs, life lessons, and vibrant characters, this interactive performance brings literature to life on stage. Don’t miss the summer fun Key Largo Library.

Wiggle, Shake, and Explore with MarineLab!
They may not have bones, but these sea critters have plenty of personality! Come to the Key Largo Library for Invertebrates Rock Shake, a marine science program led by MarineLab. Kids will get hands-on with ocean life, learn about cool creatures like sea stars and urchins, and shake things up with fun experiments! Join us—you’ll have a whale of a time!

First Responder Appreciation Day at Key Largo Library
The Key Largo Library invites you to a special Go Red celebration as part of our Read the Rainbow summer series! Join us in honoring our local heroes from the Key Largo Fire Department, Key Largo EMS, and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Families will enjoy an exciting afternoon filled with team games, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on fun with real fire trucks, rescue equipment, and police cruisers. It’s a perfect way for kids and families to connect with the brave professionals who keep our community safe—don’t miss this high-energy appreciation event!

Elementary kids are welcome to come and explore the interconnected wonders of the Everglades, hardwood hammock forests, and Florida Bay—and discover how their health directly affects life in the Florida Keys.
