You can take a trip around the world this summer at the Key West Library's Summer Reading program this June and July!
As always, you can turn in a reading log each week to win prizes. Each week will also have a theme based on a part of the world, with a book display and scavenger hunt (with prizes!).
June 1: Europe
June 8: North America
June 15: South America
June 22: Africa
June 29: USA - American turns 250
July 6: Antarctica
July 13: Australia
July 20: Asia
July 27: Key West - explore your hometown
And we'll have a Bookmark Competition: Children must turn in a bookmark and info slip by July 11. The bookmark must be inspired by the theme Ticket to Read. We'll pick three winners to receive a prize.
We'll have a Super Reader Award, with a prize, for kids who turn in six reading logs over the summer.
And we'll have a Reading Passport: Each page completed gets stamped with the date and kids get a sticker for each page. There will be a larger prize for completing the entire passport.
Come to the Library in June and July to get started on your journey.
