Thank you for your question. While Skype is not available on the library’s public PCs, you’re welcome to use the Wi-fi with your mobile device. The Wi-fi signal even reaches the Library Palm Garden–a lovely place to Skype!

I had so much fun today reading a story as Lady J with some of my puppets. The children enjoyed the puppets and the parents had a ball watching their kids enjoy a new way of story telling.
Next week after story telling, I will show thew kids how to make sock puppets, so don’t forget your old lonely sock.

It’s truly remarkable to be able to look back in history and appreciate all the strong women who stood for what they believed in and as modern day women are able to embrace and enjoy the fruits of their labour. I am very proud and thoroughly encouraged to leave as enriching a history for the younger generations.

I met this remarkable woman in November of 1973 shortly after I moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Michigan and was visiting an old high school friend in Key West. He lived in an apartment in the top floor of her large home. She appointed me the bartender and I made bloody marys for us. She was one of the most interesting people I have ever met and I have never forgotten her.

We do offer printing, but only from our public PCs. No printing via wi-fi, yet. Our PCs are free and available first-come, first served. Cost to print is $0.10/page.

I will be visiting Key West next week (3/13 – 3/18) and see that the Key West Library has wireless access. (Yeah!). Do you the capability to print from your computers there? I am a college professor and need to download and print final exams to grade while I am there! I assume if you do have the capability that there would be a cost. How much would that be?

Massie’s book is just terrible: miserably researched–he doesn’t even read
russian–and chock full of errors. My review will cite chpter and verse and be in
slavic
review (a quarterly) in a few months. I predict others by pros will be equally negative. It’s really pathetic tht he thinks he’s prote ting reacders from salacious stories about her sexuality, unaware tht these have been all over the I(nternet for at least two decades! Hewas abysmal on

Russian!! Hard to believe, but true. Just look at the puny biblio of his
catherine.
there are several much better books by pros who kno9w
russian and
russian history, suchas those by Isabel de Madariaga,

the hype for this atrocity are just nauseating!!
