Physically the smallest of the branches, the Big Pine Key Branch has a lot to offer everyone. Set in the heart of the Key Deer Sanctuary and the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge, the Big Pine Key Branch is close to shopping and dining, nature trails and "back country" wildlife areas. Here, too, is access to all your library and informational needs, for business, research, or pleasure.

The Big Pine Key Library appreciates the contributions and leadership of the Friends of the Big Pine Key Library.

Volunteer Tax Preparer Training

The IRS provides both paper and electronic products to assist volunteer tax preparers in achieving the goals of providing high quality services and preparing an accurate return each and every time. They contain the information necessary for preparing tax returns, understanding tax law, researching tax law topics, and conducting quality reviews. The training guides also contain information necessary for screening taxpayers’ documentation for VITA/TCE program eligibility. Both products follow the flow of Form 1040, and printed materials (kits) supplement the information in each of the technical guides.
