Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

Civil Rights March on Washington, D.C., 08/28/1963, U.S. National Archives

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the libraries will be closed on Monday, January 15th.

We will reopen Tuesday, January 16th at 9:30a.m.

Here’s a short but poignant story from the National Archives about capturing so many of the iconic photographs of Dr. King’s March on Washington:
