Libraries closed Wednesday until further notice

Posted Sep 4, 2017 Posted by 4 Comments

All Monroe County Public Libraries will close at the end of the day Tuesday, September 5th and will remain closed due to uncertain weather and travel conditions from Hurricane Irma. Check this site for updates. Note that book drops will be locked down to prevent water damage to books. So just hold onto your library items until further notice and, of course, fines will be waived. We wish all our neighbors a safe and uneventful storm.

Thinking and praying for you all.
Living in Michigan I’ve never experienced a hurricane and can only watch the television and pray everyone is ok.

    Dear Wonderful Libraries:
Please reach out to me! One of my clients has toys, puzzles and games to donate as you reconstruct.
This goes along with big hugs and prayers.
    At your service and
