Thursday, March 2nd: Teacher and historian Betty Darst will discuss David McCullough’s book, “The Wright Brothers.”
Tuesday, March 7th : Author Jane Newhagen will talk about her new novel, “Chambered Nautilus: A Tale of Old Key West.” Newhagen is also the author of the historical Key West novels, “Sand Dollar” and “Pieces of Eight.”
Thursday, March 9th: Lecturer Terrance Fiore will present a talk called “The Civil Right Movement in the 1960’s: A Personal Perspective.”
Tuesday, March 14th: Key West Library’s Historian Tom Hambright will talk about Hemingway’s Key West novel, “To Have and Have Not.”
Thursday, March 16th: Author and journalist Matt Dukes Jordan (“Weirdo Deluxe”) will discuss his new book, “Writers and Artists of Key West: From Hemingway to Williams, McGuane to Dillard, Martini to Sugar, A Quirky and Personal Selection.”
Talks start at 10am. Coffee and treats at 9:30am.
