Award-winning books just for kiddos

Posted Apr 22, 2015 Posted by 5 Comments

Lin_mountainThe Library’s collection of downloadable eBooks for kids just grew larger. Perfect for travel, the beach, or extra innings of big sib’s game, these books won’t get lost, ripped, wet, or chewed up. Titles may be downloaded to iPads, Kindles, even smartphones and are yours (and theirs) for up to 2 weeks. Then they return themselves…Sweet.

The new Kids eBook portal is easier to navigate with larger book covers, subject headings, even reading levels to discover that perfect eBook. Grownups can feel confident that eBooks from this site are all kid-friendly.

The portal is now featuring award-winning titles on the main page of the website. Great for book reports, reading logs, and reading aloud, these titles have won Newberys, Caldecotts, and more.

Click here to see the entire Kid’s eBook collection–from picture books to the Harry Potter series.

Use your library card number and PIN to log in. (Your default PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number on your library record.) Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees.

Don’t see a title you want? Use the Suggest a Title button on the right column to help us build the collection.
