Library card sign-in woes

Your username is the 14-digit bar code number on the back of your library card. Your password or PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number on your library account.

Possible reasons for “There appears to be a problem with your library card…”:

  • Expired card–Library cards for Monroe residents are issued for 2 years. Cards may be renewed in person at any of the library locations with photo ID and proof of mailing address (if different than photo ID). More information available here.
  • Fine block–a charge of $30.00 or above is blocking this account.
  • Note to borrower–a library staffer has added an important note to your account that is blocking this account, similar to a pop-up that must be clicked before proceeding.

    There is a problem with my account. I suspect that it has expired. I am not in the Keys at the moment so if I can renew my account by mail or online. If I have to wait until I can physically come into the library please let me know.
